Perfect Safari trip Driver arrived on time as scheduled and was smooth sailing the three hours to the park. Rasheed was very professional and coordinated all entry issues. Rasheed was very observant and spotted several giraffes on the side of the road and stopped for us to get a few pictures. A dream come true We recently returned from a safari organized by Wanyama African Safaris, and it was simply extraordinary. Our itinerary included Lake Manyara, Tarangire, Serengeti, and the Ngorongoro Crater — a perfect balance of landscapes and wildlife encounters. Every lodge we stayed in was comfortable and beautifully located, and the food was consistently delicious. Our guide, Rondasy, deserves the highest praise. His deep knowledge of wildlife and ecosystems, combined with his professionalism and genuine kindness, turned the experience into something truly exceptional. He anticipated our needs before we even expressed them and always went the extra mile to make sure everything was perfect. From a European perspective, where expectations are often quite demanding, his work quality could not be improved in any way. Congratulations to Wanyama African Safaris for their flawless organization and for having such an outstanding team. This trip has been a dream come true and a memory we will cherish forever.

Big/ugly five 250$ for a day trip to Tarangire. It was very good, we saw lots of animals. The driver was nice but it would have been better if he shared knowledge about the animals. He was too quiet. I didn’t get my lunch option but I am used to it. I am just happy that they show up on time and we got to see lots of animals, almost the big five and the ugly five. You don’t get a receipt when u pay so you feel a bit insecure but everything went well.

7-tägige Camping Safari mit Wanyama African Safari – absolute Empfehlung Wir haben die 7-tägige Camping Safari mit Wanyama African Safari gemacht und sind rundum begeistert – absolut empfehlenswert! Jeder einzelne Tag hielt ein neues Highlight bereit. Die Reihenfolge der Nationalparks war perfekt gewählt und sorgte für eine stetige Steigerung. Jeder Nationalpark hatte seinen ganz eigenen Charme, sowohl landschaftlich als auch in Bezug auf die Tierwelt, und die Vielfalt hat uns beeindruckt. Das Camping mitten in den Nationalparks war ein Abenteuer und ein unvergessliches Erlebnis. Die Nächte in der Wildnis, umgeben von Naturgeräuschen, waren einzigartig. Die Ausrüstung wurde gestellt. Die sanitären Anlagen und Aufenthaltsräume waren einfach, aber völlig ausreichend. Auch der Service war hervorragend: Während der Fahrt gab es immer ausreichend Getränke und sogar Lademöglichkeiten für unsere Geräte. Ein besonderes Lob geht an unseren Guide Rashid: Mit 10 Jahren Erfahrung als Safari-Guide verfügt er über ein beeindruckendes Wissen über die Tiere und die gesamte Flora und Fauna. Egal welche Frage wir hatten, Rashid wusste immer die Antwort. Aufgrund seiner hohen Expertise entdeckte er selbst die kleinsten Tiere aus weiter Entfernung, wusste die üblichen Aufenthaltsorte der Tiere und kannte alle Wege. Rashid war unglaublich hilfsbereit, freundlich und zuvorkommend. Zudem gab er uns viele Tipps, machte großartige Fotos und ging jederzeit auf unsere Wünsche ein. Seine Englischkenntnisse sind ausgezeichnet und er fuhr immer sehr sicher. Mit Rashid fühlten wir uns jederzeit bestens aufgehoben. Man kann ihm wirklich zu 100 % vertrauen. Ein weiterer Höhepunkt war unser eigener Koch Abdul: Er verwöhnte uns mit abwechslungsreichem, frischem und super leckerem Essen auf hohem Niveau. Sogar zum Mittagessen gab es teilweise warme Speisen, die er bereits nachts für uns vorbereitet hatte. Auch die Organisation war reibungslos: Die Kommunikation im Vorfeld über Shabani lief absolut unkompliziert und wir bekamen immer schnell eine Antwort. Auch die Transfers funktionierten gut. Zusammenfassend waren wir wirklich sehr zufrieden, haben unvergessliche Eindrücke gesammelt und würden diese Safari jederzeit wieder buchen.

Safari Arusha National park Fortunately, we got the contact for Wanyama tours from the hotel staff of Mount Maru hotel, cause we only had a couple of days. We immediately contacted Wanyama and they came the same day to explain what they had to offer. You can pay via card machine or cash. They picked us up in the morning the next day for the safari tour. You don’t have to bring any water or sodas because they have drinks in the fridge on the truck and it’s included in the price. There is more than enough drinks. Drive is approx. 45 min to the park. You stop shortly at the entrance for a toilet visit (btw entrance fee to the park is also included in the price). Approx. after 3 hours you have lunch. We had lunch at a spot at Small Momela lake. What was surprising and amazing is that we got locally made food. We got rice with a local bean dish with grilled chicken with plates and cutlery. This gave a real picnic feeling. If lunch is not enough for you, I suggest to bring some snacks to cover the time before lunch and after. Afterwards we continued the tour for another 3 hrs before heading back to the hotel. Shout out to our tour guide Evans for driving us around safely, giving us info about the park and animals and of course for making this tour more memorable. I really recommend Wanyama tours.
